“Meaning is not in things but in between them.”
~ Norman O. Brown
To open a place to begin, we humans tend to underestimate the probability of and phenomenal potential within concurrent events, where our expectations (a mind construct, much attributed to the reticular activating system) are ultimately at odds with what is real, especially what is felt to be real beyond what is seen.
So, what is there to do about this paradox-- or, even more, what do you feel in desiring and choosing to be?
Everyone at some place in life has asked a question about his or her identity, like: How do I want to be with myself and the world? In a culture that is missing an integral piece about individual identity, one that is unique, as with the rite of passage, this question sometimes runs deeper than is maybe comfortable or becomes more overwhelming than seems doable. We may allow certain social structures or desires of others define this perception of who we are, which can only augment or deepen the pain of isolation and fragment us away from the joy of our own subtle and wondrous uniqueness. To return to a more essential place of belonging and the harmony it can bring, it’s key to return to the basic place of creation through ritual— to recapitulate our humanness, our personal will, our pure desire, and our innate sense of wonder and awe. And within a place of ritual it’s important to bring about a more systematic and archetypal modeling of ways to navigate our experiences of our selves and each other to see, feel and return to the real world beyond mere or mundane description; and to do this in togetherness with a resilient thematic guidance in a more universally potentiated place to begin. This natural system, which is not of applied or implied structures but is of created and co-created living designs of essential meaning making, emerges from what I refer to as Liminal Kinetics— the always-available creative nexus that is born of the living field within the in-between of and throughout everything.
“And one by one the nights between our separated cities are joined to the night that unites us.”
― Pablo Neruda
Now, there is a necessary ingredient for the catalyzing of kinetics to occur in this in-between. Some guides, teachers, therapists, or psychologists refer to a word called presence. It's become like a meme around which many gather to try and understand their own belonging in the world (as sometimes in certain attempts to form rituals or different kinds of ceremonies). And, in this and more, presence can be many things; sometimes difficult to understand how it applies to the thriving field of possibilities that life can be, both in its intelligence and abundance. To bring it more into a vital clarity within all that we are, in life as most ancient scholars and shaman of many types have come to know in their research, philosophies and guidance modalities, presence can be more substantiated as a whole by saying that it is the original felt expression of luminous consciousness in emergence (like with Balyogi's three flames of consciousness). And this is not in some conceptual box, but much more a dynamic feeling of the whole self meeting full life, like substantiating the most meaningful self as primary in always being seen and felt as showing up. Luminous consciousness is always available to each and all, generated in the "what" of making the "who" we are, maybe expressed within a single breath; and little or nothing needs to be changed or done to experience it other than to attend it within your self and allow it to fill you with the feelings and thoughts that come with it of that perpetuating birthing of your sentience into each moment. This consciousness experience is central to many life processes, such as for instance Carlos Casteneda's' recapitulation (from his book, The Eagle's Gift) or within any growth or evolution process. This dynamic system of this sense of always two in beginning, dynamic as everything begins with two AND there's no duality in the between-- two as of both conscious acknowledgement and awareness fulfillment, of both yourself and others, of both within and without, is what I call Liminal Kinetics ©, the always-available living field in-the-between and throughout the self in more spherical engagement with others. [A substantial model for its engaging process can be found with neurological cells, where they are not attached yet communicate quite clearly, beginning instantaneously between the two-by-two.] Bringing about the phenomenology of luminous consciousness through liminal kinetics within engagement enhances the what is of awareness and can create a full somatic sense of universal harmony and its inherent transcendent qualities, the meaning-making bonding to endless co-created events that flows with and throughout all things. Here, comes the felt sentient knowing that harmony exists because there are all things and that you are intrinsically unique for this harmony to exist.
~ John Pabros-Clark, 2018
This harmonic and safe immersive-learning environment John creates for clients is what he calls a natural process of Liminal Kinetics ©,; an innate, somatic, felt-sense learning from personal and collective experience within both the space in-between and the essential information flowing through sentient awareness within the resilient field of creative spherical engagement (creating with the creation process itself, like playing in the field of the divine). It is a natural function of the unfolding intelligence of life. Thus, liminal kinetics begins within the feeling of a feeling (as with Antonio Damasio's work), where consciousness more dynamically emerges to become a self-realization of the luminous, the pure, and moves through personal desire to activate the will and catalyze a clear and present intention into countless life applications (vitalizing what some call manifesting dreams).
Now, if you've read this far, kudos! You've entered the environment of John's work.
